What percentage of your money do you save, invest, allocate to retirement, & spend?

Question about solo/self-employed 401ks: If I create a sole-member LLC for a side business and create a solo/self-employed 401k, am I only allowed to make contributions from the earnings earned via the LLC? Or am I allowed to contribute money earned from a different source (ie W-2 job).

Genuinely curious: How do you justify working in PR knowing that you won’t make $100k+ for 15-20 years? I’m 3 years into my career and I have regrets about choosing this field when I look at my financial timeline.

Since people are talking about unemployment and being fired, I wanted to make sure I have enough, 👩🏾‍💻... What should I do? I initially took the loan to add to my home equity when I sell my house for a new house then covid hit.

I make $101K base salary as a Consultant/Specialist at Accenture Federal in Washington, DC. My husband is a teacher making $55K. So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise.
