I have $700 personal ecredit on delta to use because I cancelled a flight. Can you help me with a few questions please: 1) if I use it to by a $200 flight, do I lose the other $500? 2) is it route locked or can be on any delta flight? 3) I’m assuming it’s locked to me only.

1. You will be able to use the remaining $500 for a different route 2. Any flight from what I have used in the past 3. Correct

like

1) no your balance will update 2) any flight 3) no, you can use it when you purchase for others (never tested but I think it works. You can change the person who takes the flight when you’re logged in and book

ECredits can be used as you wish. For a different route, or the same. No you’d still have an ebalance of $500. Keep an eye on expiration if any.

Also, you can apply it to trips for others. Think of it like a gift card

No, no, yes

1) no it’s saved as leftover credit on the same voucher 2) there is no restrictions as it is considered cash 3) yes but if you call and get lucky with someone nice, you may be able to transfer it

Thank you all, so it’s basically Delta dollars in my delta bank account! They should rebrand to that, easier to understand haha

This is from AA perspective, but I’m sure it’s the same as delta 1) I’m pretty sure you get a $500 voucher if you only use $200 flight credit. which can be applied to another future flight (check the expiration) 2) Can be any flight, I’m not sure on international but I don’t see why not 3) Yes, but the voucher can be used for another person. You would enter the voucher number when you checkout and pay the difference, if any

Been friends w/ a girl for years since I met her overseas (chatting on phone often). When we started travelling together on a few trips, she annoyed me on so many levels, we are just not compatible so I no longer want to travel with her. I still value our friendship and don't mind continuing catching up on the phone. I'm non-confrontational so instead telling her i find her difficult/annoying, I just stopped inviting her/avoid trips/added a lil more distance. But she doesn't get it..-contd
