I’m leaving my job. Last week is my last. I’m resigning with no new job.

People still can’t comprehend why I would quit. They keep on asking me if I’m not going to miss it, regret it. I told a few people, I’ve never liked working here ever. I like a few people but overall I’ve always to quit. I haven’t thrown a goodbye party, no email, no broadcasting it to people (even those I work closely with).

People either stopped greeting me or Keep on questioning my decision.

I’ve been hooking up with a guy off and on for a little over 4 years (met right after a break up) and early on set the boundary that it’s just sex. Recently told a friend abt him (we were out she wanted to know who I was texting/who was picking me up) & now she’s trying to convince me that I’m just in denial (and so is he) of having feelings for each other. He’s a good guy, has his life together, and we have fun, but I don’t get why the arrangement we have is a problem/needs to be changed??

I’m so grumpy about new campus hires. Sometimes I’m judgmental (your hobby is “working on your golf swing,” really?). Sometimes I’m just exhausted by the worried earnestness. Sometimes I’m amazed that they seem to have zero useful skills, yet they’ll be making 150k easily in the not too distant future.

When I’m in a heated argument with someone close to me, I want to isolate from them and can be perceived as giving the silent treatment or being short. But on the inside, I go through sad thoughts such as feeling like my presence is a burden, that I’m an annoyance, and dont want to bother you again by reminding you of my presence, and would rather leave you alone😢.

Everytime I’m riding high, getting good work done, my boss has to come in and ruin the mood. Every time. Here’s to spending the rest of my day eating ice cream and watching tv while still working but less than before
