I’m looking to leave a position I have been at for 6 months and have 11 years overall FinCrime experience in Ops, Control, and Compliance roles. I’m what you would consider an experienced VP/SVP role and received a nice pay bump (roughly $31k) coming here. Should I look for additional comp as I am looking externally or should I just look for similar pay? I’m afraid if I set expectations too high recruiters or HR won’t bother with me when reviewing my resume but don’t want to miss out either.

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?

I have 9.5 yrs of experience and am currently level 62 in Microsoft. I feel I should be Senior SE in Microsoft (level 63) but when I got microsoft offer last year the HR said it is the maximum they can give. Fixed base is 28 LPA. There is an upcoming appraisal cycle in September, so I wanted to ask how much can I expect Microsoft to adjust the base salary in this appraisal cycle ( given my performance was decent) ?

Currently at BNY Mellon with 10 YOE, specifically in Corporate Trust working CLO/CDO’s (first job out of college).
