I'm new to the points game and just opened up an Amex Gold. I should be receiving 90k points soon once I hit the $4000 mark. I'm looking to book a flight from Tokyo to New York. (I also have almost 30k Chase points.) It looks like I can book United economy nonstop for 35k. Any tips and tricks for those who have transferred points before? I tried finding a cheap ANA (thru Virgin) business class seat hack, but it's either impossible or I'm doing something wrong haha.

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

Marital advice from points 🐠 please! I’m the points / rewards person in our house. Spouse couldn’t care less. Drives me bonkers when he makes purchases at stores where we have rewards but doesn’t bother to identify it. He literally leaves money on the table when not bothering to pick the credit card from his wallet that has the best rewards for the merchant. I give him the tools (card pointers app, all the rewards cards in apple wallet) but he just can’t be bothered. How to get him onboard??
