I used the Dummy books. Great summary at the end of each chapter. I used “World History for Dummies”

If at first you don’t succeed. It took me 3 times. I noticed that the different versions had more of certain questions. One had more economics, one more world civ, and the 3rd time I got a version with a concentration of US history and govt. questions and that’s the time I passed about 25 years ago. Good luck. It will happen just don’t give up.

Does NJ have a test prep booklet? I’m in PA, so we have the praxis series for certification. Each test has a prep book. I found that to be helpful 17 years ago.

Visiting Toronto in September, I've been there many times and have had a good time, though I've never fallen in love with the City. What are some of your suggestions for visitors beyond St. Lawrence market, CN tower and distillery district? Also any recommendations for Prince Edward County? Favourite restaurants, wineries, towns and view points? Would love to fall in love with Ontario this trip :) Thanks!

My District decided to initiate a “no zero policy” starting now. I was informed by administration that when a student does not turn in their work, I still have to give the student a fifty percent even though that student didn’t earn it. I teach sixth graders and I am not sure how I feel about this. Any words of advice?

My husband and I are looking to plan our honeymoon, traveling either early Nov or Jan-early March. Want to spend between $6-8k, be gone for at 10-12 days. Open to hopping to more than one location. While we love the beach, we definitely don't want to spend 10 days laying on a beach. We love anything with animals, light adventure activities (yes to jet skiing, no to BASE jumping). He loves to scuba. We have points to spend on flights but not many for hotels. Where would you go in our situation?

Moving to manhattan and looking for neighborhood advice. 22 years old, looking for a neighborhood/area with a good music scene, good bar scene, decent commute to midtown, other people my age, and that isn’t filled with finance bros. Any data points on which neighborhoods offer even just one or two of these would be immensely helpful.

What did you guys use your health and fitness subsidy on?

Ladies, what’s your view on helping spouses’ extended family financially after marriage? Husband is the oldest of four kids and his parents have decent life savings. He thinks that he should help out if anything happens to his siblings and they need money, and it shouldn’t matter if his parents or other siblings are helping. E.g, if a sibling is sick and needs 100k, and we have 500k liquid we should just give 100k to the sibling.
