I’m noticing that internal competition is starting to impact how openly people share information on my team. Call notes are vague, people hold back on what’s really happening in their deals, and collaboration has pretty much disappeared. I get why it happens, but it feels like we’re all worse off because of it. Have you found any healthy ways to balance collaboration and self-protection in a competitive sales org?

Is it a red flag if, after almost two years in a full quota carrying and selling role I want to take a lower role at another company in order to break into a field (tech sales) I want to work in? It’s better pay - closer to home and at a company with a better reputation?

“Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you. Except our generation will just leave amid we’re being mistreated, not complain for 35 years making 50k and 0 advancement.

When she attended she said that there was no point of responding my email as we are meeting anyway. Later on I had 2nd interview with the hiring manager.
