Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?
What’s the best VDR and why is it datasite?

Get back to work!
Jump ship! It’s worth it!
As someone that jumped shipped twice for a 50% and 40% bump, I agree! Went from top ten firm to B4 to BDO.
Don’t explain-hand off work to someone else. If they can’t do it properly-blame them. Take your 10 things, hand off 2. Estimate how long each will take and do the 3 shorter ones. Now you only have 5 things left.
I wouldn’t spend so much time explaining anything to anyone above you. Ask them for a deadline or tell them you can likely fit it in next Tuesday. If it’s urgent loop in your managers and then which you should do first or how to prioritize your work. I would recommend making it their responsibility since it really is at the end of the day (depending on your level).
Talk with your PML, maybe they can help prioritize or let others know the situation. This job is tough at times but you can do this.
Rising Star
Just leave!! Don't forget that quitting your current job is always an option. You can find better work life balance and probably better pay too somewhere else. I quit right before busy season and it was a great decision.
I feel the same way OP. It is really hard working all these hours and wearing ourselves down and not feeling like we get any recognition or praise. My boss does do a good job saying thank you but thank you's don't pay my bills as I always say.
