I started recently. I paid for 6 sessions and I'm already pleased after just doing one so far. I wish I had waited to start in the fall though. Avoiding sun exposure before and after each session will be a pain all summer.
They're worth it but be careful of the effects after-treatment. Don't do waxing, don't shower with hot water.
SO worth it. I’m olive with dark hair and I want my whole body done.
Worth it! I’m fair with thick dark hair and did my whole body. I just finished my treatment and I’m pretty much hairless. This sounds dramatic but it significantly improved my quality of life… I no longer have to take hour-long showers, think about what I’m going to wear that day based on where I’ve shaved, or feel self conscious about anyone seeing embarrassing hair on my hands or back of my neck, etc.
Yes! There will be a difference, have to commit to appointments and inevitably cost. Wish I did it when I was younger.
Definitely worth every cent
Yes worth it I don’t break out from it like I do when I shave regular razor.
Worth it! I have had chin and neck and upper lip done before and needed to go back in to refresh those (which you will need to do every couple years). When I was at the spa I decided to go ahead and do everything else. I am on appt 4 of 10 for full body. It’s so great - my legs usually could not go more than two days of no shaving without looking like a bear coming out of hibernation! Now not even halfway through I can easily go 1 - 2 weeks without doing a touch up shave. I wish I had done this years ago.
Yes, black hair, medium brown skin. I got them done on my chin/jaw area, underarms, and legs for the first time 6 years ago. Lower legs probably has 2 stubborn hairs after 8 sessions, upper leg/thighs always had faint/thin hair so wasn't as effective; still it's faint enough that I typically don't need to shave unless I go to the beach.
Face and underarms need touch-ups once every 6 months to a year. If I wait longer then I'll have to have back to back 2-3 sessions...I got started because I was getting scars on my jaws from plucking and shaving, took about 8 months for the scars to start fading and almost gone by end of 2 years since my first session.
Most Definitely worth it!!!! Do It
Thanks everyone, It’s been helpful. I am going ahead with the treatment, keeping in mind the rare chance of severe regrowth, pain, and burns/sun exposure. Really appreciate your comments.
Really worth it! Just make sure you go to a place that knows what they are doing. The right settings make a lot of difference. I’ve seen people getting burned when they go to cheap places. Be careful and enjoy!
