In commercial real estate, is Underwriting or Asset Management a better career path?

Eyeing some of the academic fellowships at the end of the 1st year. Can alum shed some light on difficulty to get a high GPA? Does Flex core vs. Fixed core matter?

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Recruiter and mgr had great things to say around growth and opportunity, which doesn’t align with feedback from the bowls or Glassdoor.

Hi Everyone, Started my career in government 5 years ago working in an operational role, then focussed on HR for 3 years working my way up to a middle manager role in HR as a business partner and completed my Level 7 CIPD. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. Expected Pay for an Investments Analyst? (NY, large reit)

I need help figuring out if I’m being underpaid. I’m working on real estate private equity and I focus on fund models and property valuations. I’m currently base $80k with only 20% bonus. On top of that I have about 5 years experience. I’m good at my job and receive good reviews from everyone. I feel like I could be compensated better but the company says that’s what they think I’m worth. Any help or insights would be great!
