Typically less than 2% overall for our industry.
I don’t know about KPMG but EY has approx. 90,000 US employees and approx. 4,500 US Partners so, 5% chance to make partner.

I’m not being condescending….the OP’s title says “KPMG” so just assumed he worked at KPMG, which is why I said “I don’t know about KPMG but at EY, it’s this.” That’s because I work at EY and assume they work at KPMG. Sorry 🤷🏼♂️
