K1, what makes you say that? Curious as to what you’re seeing within the firm that causes you to come to the dig water conclusion

I think my chances are pretty good.

I don’t know about KPMG but EY has approx. 90,000 US employees and approx. 4,500 US Partners so, 5% chance to make partner.

Good luck. 👍

I’m not being condescending….the OP’s title says “KPMG” so just assumed he worked at KPMG, which is why I said “I don’t know about KPMG but at EY, it’s this.” That’s because I work at EY and assume they work at KPMG. Sorry 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’m an auditor who recently made the switch to advisory. When I was in audit, I could predict my schedule. I knew when I’d be busy (i.e. during busy season or interim) so I didn’t make plans during those weeks or those weekends. In advisory, my schedule has become less predictable. Twice now, I’ve been told about last minute deadlines that have forced me to work over a weekend and late into the evenings, interfering with prior plans I had made. Is this normal in advisory?
