Hey folks, what’s everyone’s thought on sustainability as a focus for supply chain. A lot of the work I do is optimization, supply chain excellence and the like of that. I’ve done some work in carbon footprint, it what’s everyone’s take on getting a masters of sustainability and going deep in as a SME in supply chain sustainability?

I failed my first exam and now I am having a difficult time gaining the focus and drive I once hard to study and seat for another… did anyone went through that same thing or similar how did you over come that? I tend to set high expectations for myself and get overwhelm when those expectations are not met… but I’m working on that.

If you are fresher, go for a WF Office setup. You will learn things beyond your work. In the initial phase of of your career, one needs to focus more on learning than on comfort. The interactions at office, meeting with collegues, conversations at the cafeteria, sense of responsibilty, the need to walk up on time to reach office etc will shape you for better.

Once you have a work experience of few year then any setup is fine. Go for WFH.

Is getting a cert every month or even every 2 months doable? In the analytics field and had goals to get a couple of specific certs this year (one is scheduled, and another I have to take within 2 months, and there were 2 others I had planned to get before end of this year) but want to make sure I’m not setting myself up to fail by doing them too quickly

Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. My main argument to choose blockchain is the easy entry with little experience and high salary, I plan on growing my skills during the bear market and get a job once the market recovers. I list mine because I see it as a way to show support for colleagues who may not be cisgender. Had an interview, the interviewer asked why do we need streams jdk8? Told following answers:1. It allows functional programming by filter, map, reduce way of applying operations on collections.
2. We can use intermediate operations for lazy iterations n ternary ops for finally giving out desired output, jvm can improve performance for intermediate ops.
3.reduction of code that we hv to write n ease of passing behaviour in stream function.
But interviewer was not satisfied, what I missed?
