If a company does this, it is the final stage- a chemistry check. I think it’s good to meet your future direct reports, but they shouldn’t be interviewing you, but more about chemistry. If they are meeting you, that should be the final stage. I once interviewed at a small agency and they had me meet with the most junior people on the staff - I found that to be highly unusual and it turned me off. But to meet with your directs is a good thing

^ Totally agreed on the chaperoned part. That's a red flag and negates the whole thing.
