In the same breath.....I just found this stat from Bloomberg.

“Since 2008, the 100 companies with the lowest CEO compensation within the S&P 500 index have outperformed the 100 with the highest compensation every year except 2013. The annualized return from 2008 to 2018 was 17.2 percent compared with 8.4 percent.”

So are you telling me that maybe the goal of the company and management is not to maximize shareholder value?? 🤔

That level of pay is obscene. No one needs that much

Best takeaway from the article is-
“An annual Deloitte survey of millennials, for example, has found that the majority believe that the primary purpose of business is not to make a profit, but to serve society.”

Hmmm?? So let’s all have the Bernie Sanders’ way of thinking kick in and “let the inmates run the prison” then. Take from the Rich and give to the Poor. So then free college for my 3 kids. No objections on my part. And no one sees any problems on the surface, right?

Exec. comp is stupid high. That’s a fact. But so are out of control athlete wages in sports like the NBA, the NFL, MLB, etc. Let’s reduce salaries there and redistribute it to the employees at the
stadiums who work their tails off for basically minimum wage. That’ll fix things, right??

Bottom line is if Ms. Disney wants to attack Bob Iger and bite the hand that has fed (and continues to feed) her family...then look out below for the possible consequences.

Hi Fishes,
I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.

To all AEs in the fishbowl, if I am a consultant in sfdc space what is some advice on how I can get time w an AE or get on some preferred list of consultants that an AE might use to help their clients? New in consulting space at the moment but years in SFDC space

Currently I work for a small company that does the construction of small cell utility poles and roof top sites for the major cell carriers like VZW, T-mobile, AT&T and so on. I am a project coordinator but I do everything under the sun. Created project tracker. Submitti bids, sourcing material, negotiating price on materials, handling post construction inspections, scheduling sub contractors, notifying stakeholders, coordinating with construction managers - property owners - building management.

Curious as to how many deals at once is typical for a first year associate to take on (M&A, mostly private equity clients). Deal size is lower middle market and I’ve worked on deals ranging from $1-$110M. 2 deals at once is plenty for me, but it seems like my peers are able to take on more than that at once and still do fine. Maybe I’m just a slow learner/out of my league at the big law firm I’m at.

-Multiple investments that investors can determine whether or not they want to invest in
-One K-1 per investor based on their investments and income
-Ability for the Sponsor/Fund to invest directly, indirectly and in equity, debt, Pref, etc.
To me this seems extremely cumbersome and would require multiple classes of (cont’d)

CFP study programs:

I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
