Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

At PwC, for example, we’d go into workday, find the role, then click to refer a person. We’d enter some details and an email would be sent to the person be referred. That email would include a link to apply. The person must apply through that link in order to be referred.

usually you have a form that must be filled out and also you might have to submit their resume.
Can’t comment for PWC, but for D we have a portal where we submit the persons name, their resume, and usually a blurb (I believe) to a specific posting. I believe that then triggers an application to them.
Thanks everyone! I’m still a student and I was curious how referrals worked.
Follow up question: when students do networking calls with you, what is your intention when you refer them to a colleague instead of directly referring them to HR by yourself? Was it because they weren’t qualified enough?
Referral process for undergrad hires is different. And unless the person referring you is a partner, they probably don’t mean much.
