Got a message from a Bain recruiter looking for experienced hires to start q1. I'm very interested but cautious because they're looking for a speedy process...feels a little rushed. Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I am in dilemma about the option that is most suitable for me as my wife would have to quit her current job and relocate and then find another job. Is it a profitable deal to relocate to Austria?

Only get a MacBook if you already have a windows pc, citrix workspace works best on a windows. In mac you cannot use shortcuts like Alt+tab inside the VDI. So choose wisely

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

Manager texted me at ~10pm asking for a non-critical update. I chose not to respond (until morning) because I don't want to allow a bad habit to form. Thoughts?
