Interviewed for Sr Software Eng. in Test. Cleared the OA on Thursday and had two interviews on Friday (second round within an hour after the first).

The second interview was seriously tough, I answered all questions except one. At last with 10 min left he asked coding question medium level, I wrote an O(n) solution but made a small mistake (wrote i instead of j at one place in hurry) due to no time unable to debug it.

Any advice, did i miss or have chance, i am feeling very tensed from Friday.

Anyone care to share their biggest case interview mistakes? Anything you'd do differently knowing what you know now?

Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

Interviewed for a sr. PM last Thursday. Was scheduled for 30min but we went to an hour and had a really good conversation. The questions I got asked I was told the answers were perfect by the hiring manager. I felt really good coming out of it but then followed up with an email thanking them for the time the next day and I never received a response or next steps. Am I thinking too much into it or is it not a good sign?

What base salary/ total comp to expect for a Sr PM in Toronto in today’s market?

I was looking at PM roles only that were around $110k, one company approached me with Sr PM (title bump) at $110k. I’m getting scheduled for final interview loop next week with this company and planning to negotiate if an offer is extended from them.
