This job is miserable without travel.
It’s time for me to move on from my back office/CBS job at EY. I’ve been able to get through to recruiter and hiring manager screening round with FAANG employers and some tech companies but never beyond that. Wait are the asking who you keep in tough with from your old form or your old client/their former employer?
I’m assuming the later. You were right not to name drop a bunch of people, but I would’ve just said you’ve kept in touch with the team they worked with etc. IMO this doesn’t seem to be a red flag it sounds more social or to check if you maintain relationships beyond your project.
You are correct on the later assumption.
Would agree with you but they got into specific offices and roles it seems they were interested in. Don’t know i me it was a mind game of integrity or trying to drum up business
