How do you work well with others? How do you deal with internal conflicts? How do you continue to move things forward, efficiently?
Helpful to ask for their assessment of the client-agency relationship too. Ask about the types of personalities on the client side, opportunities that they see for wider strategic support from the team, and how the account team works with strategy.

Some thought starters:
1) How would they describe their ideal account/strategy relationship?
2) Things they look for in a successful strategist?
3) How would they describe the creative team? (this will be telling about the overall team dynamics and culture)
4) Where do they see the category/client going?
5) Not a question but be prepared to speak to cool ads you’ve seen lately and what you think the strategy was behind them. They may or may not ask you directly, but if you can pepper that into the convo, it will go a long way!
