Can anyone give me their honest opinion on working at Eli Lilly, the Indy site? I have a few coworkers that have worked there in the past but no one recently. I’m currently being recruited pretty seriously for a in-vivo technician position in the auto-immune team, but I already have a job lined up at Envigo as a small animal sx tech. Salaries would be comparable (Lilly would most likely be a little more with bonuses), but if the culture sucks, I’d hate to burn a bridge with Envigo.

Incoming AC at Bain, previously was deciding between Bain and McKinsey. But, ultimately chose Bain for the culture despite McKinsey being aligned with my professional goals of working in the government. I was looking on LinkedIn and didn’t find many people who are working in the White House after Bain, but found countless examples for McKinsey. Would it be difficult to try to transition to working in government after a few years at Bain? Any thoughts?

It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

So I've been at my job for 5+ years as a data analyst/back office support team. I made my way up into making a little over $40k. I've been WFH the past 2 yrs and overtime more than half my team has now been pulled out to work for a diff department which resulted in me taking 90% of our daily tasks to handle. Has anyone successfully moved out of claims into underwriting? I have been doing worker’s compensation claims for about 9 years now as an adjuster. I would really like to get into underwriting but have not had any success so far. What are some other roles I can transition to?

The years of experience are the same, but you have 3 designations (they have 0), you have 3 licenses (they have just 2), they have little to no experience with technical complex claims (you have hundreds), and you have 3 years in management (they have 0).
