Interviewing undergrads makes me glad I came in as an experienced hire. I never would have survived this process

I’m interviewing for a solutions architect role and I was invited for a 2nd phone interview. Is this standard practice or is it like Google when the 1st interview has mixed results and they need another one to say go/no go?

The depression is really starting to set in...it feels so impossible to even get noticed, let alone get an interview and then actually get hired. I’m trying to stay positive but it’s really hard.

Anyone who has been through both rounds at MBB - does case difficulty get any harder between round 1 and 2? Or is it just the level of interviewer?

Can i get some idea on what are current market trends for candidates with 5 yrs of SOC experience applying for cybersecurity roles like security officer or GRC related as well as consultant roles?

I’ve been promoted with a title but not the responsibilities. I’m job searching and am primarily looking at postings that don’t include my promoted title — I’m not sure how to professionally articulate in an interview why I would be willing to take a “step down”. As I see it, I’m looking for a lateral move because I don’t actual have experience as a true “senior”.

Do you have a product portfolio? I have case study details on features I've released but so far have only needed as reference notes in interviews. I have an upcoming interview where they specifically want to discuss my portfolio and want to ensure I'm correctly prepared.
