Nope. Pure operations. Advisors & Private Bankers are the one doing the selling. The IRO just opens up the accounts in the back end and communicates with clients through onboarding.

Helps open accounts, check compliance boxes, submit ACATs, run maintenance on investment accounts. Pretty much a middle office role simulator to a Registered Client Service Associate. I would avoid unless you like working an intricate bureaucratic process and clunky systems for $130k/yr best case.
