Investments, do you have them? How often do you check them? Unfortunately for me it's late in life and I haven't had a life where I could really save or invest in anything. I'm not sure what someone would even need to retire these days.

I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus).
