If I’m being budget conscious iPhone 11. If I’m looking for most bang for buck, iPhone 11. Most people don’t utilize the telephoto lens enough for it to make sense. Most people cannot physically tell a difference between the screens unless you have the phones really close to your eyes. Definitely go take a look at the Apple store to confirm for yourself. If you do a lot of videos, low light photography, and mobile gaming. Maybe 11 pro might make more sense. But the 11 will accomplish everything the pro does. Whatever upgrade the pro is from the 11, generally isn’t worth the price difference.
To the screen point, you can tell the OLED with blacks and dark mode. Otherwise I agree you’d need to hold an LCD next to it to tell a difference.
Really depends on how sensitive your eyes are to screen changes. I reckon most people won’t recognize the difference between LCD and OLED but I do and hard to go back
The wide angle lens is also pretty dope (idk if 11 has them or not)
I went from an 8+ the Pro (not pro Max). I think the 11 will do the job for most people but I like the smaller size of the normal Pro, and with dark mode, having OLED blacks is awesome and noticeable. I also love the midnight green color and stainless steel. I think the biggest advantage of the 3 cameras is that you can do 1x or 2x as the basis for portrait mode (I don’t usually take pictures of stuff that’s far away).
Thanks very much all, after taking a look in store, my feeble mole eyes can’t tell the difference between the OLED and LCD, so I think I’ll stick with the ‘vanilla’ 11. Both are a huge upgrade from what I have at the moment!
I picked based upon size. I prefer the smaller form factor of the 11 pro, so went with that.
Telephoto is meh and the screen is a little nicer on the pro versions but Apple does LCD pretty well. I had the 11 pro —> 11 —> 11 pro.
If money isn’t a factor I’d go with the pro.
