Hey guys, Since I am working in Deloitte and right now, I am working from home. I want to go Nepal for 2 months and I want to work from there. Do I need to tell my manager or simply I can go there and start my work. Is there any obligation?
Note- I don't want to tell anyone. Since it may backfire sometimes

No. 35 LPA is too less. You will not be able to able to buy any 5 BHK apartments from DLF. A Mercedes will cost you starting ₹35 lakhs+ which will be difficult in this salary. Also, you will not be able to buy a personal airplane since there would be traffic on the road and you’ll not be able to commute, without a private jet. I would recommend, not to come to Delhi at this meagre salary. Please ask for a raise to survive with these basic needs.
I'm in my early 30s, currently earn INR 30 LPA and my wife brings in another INR 20 LPA. We are renting here ofcourse (2BHK, INR 40K/ month), and have an EMI for our car (INR 40K/ month). No kid though. So roughly we'd be at the same position I guess in terms of finances?
Beyond that, I'd say it's a balance between how good of a lifestyle you want vs how much you can save. We're able to lead a pretty decent lifestyle (2 long vacations a year, an outing every week, shopping, etc). Savings could be better, at only about INR 40k/ month, which is less considering we bring in about INR 2L-2.5L/ month.
So broadly, considering you have your own place and car (and don't need to save up for a home loan/ down-payment), you'd be more than comfortable with what you're getting.
Anything else you'd like me to specifically talk about?
Haha, good way to summarize. Ah, had my heart set on the Slavia/ Virtus, but the Nexon just offered better value for me. Had Slavia/Virtus safety ratings come earlier though, I just might've moved the budget needle a little bit.
Aa gaye quora wale idhar
Only if you were born yesterday and don't know how much 35 LPA is... should you ask such a question..
You ask a question and then answer it yourself, bhai Bangla gaadi biwi sab hai .. life set hai .. lekin 35 lpa kam hai kya ?
Pehle tumhari quora pe li gayi thi
Ab fishbowl mein li jaayegi
Thank you @Optum1 bro
Phr se wahi . Yeh 35 LPA wale aate kaha se hai ? Kitne YEO hai bhai ? Your qualifications bhi bata do . Phr bataugi !!
Rising Star
Is it 3.5 lpa

No don't come. You can't survive. Stay wherever you are. 35 is too less. You will become a bpl card holder
Sad to see a EY (Big 4 auditing firm) person not able to do his own consulting and accounting😂😂
You earn enough, but you’d never earn two things - self satisfaction, and common sense.
and you would not know how to behave
35 me kya hota h... do you even know how much does a flat costs in DLF Camellias!? Google kr bhai. Kaise reh paega bata Delhi me soch !
Yeh pakka ashneer ka beta hain 😂
It depends on your current age, financial commitment and life style.
So for normal folks having nuclear famiy, 33 LPA is good enough to live a happy life.
Pro
OP...35 is ok to hv an okok lifestyle & live within ur means...but as ur kid grows up...ensure ur salary/investments scale up too.
Nope, u need 2 cr at the bare minimum.
35 is too less, u wont be able to survivd
I feel 20 lpa is enough for anywhere in India. Also, With great money comes the itch to have a great lifestyle.
But buddy its good right? You earn your hard earned money so you tend to have a better lifestyle right? I wont recommend to lavishly spend all money for luxury but atleast a percentage.. we all have one life so it needs to be properly looked at 😊
Really difficult question. People earning 80LPA are not happy, people earning 6LPA are also happy. So it really depends.
I can share one thing though.
EY has very little or no work life balance. Although Delhi is a great city, with little work life balance there would be little scope to enjoy.
Practical note- for 40-50k/month you will get rent in the most posh gated societies.
Bhai Kejriwal ne tho International level education free kardi hai Delhi me.. Kounse bade kharche bache hai tumhare abh?
10k mein bhi no savings ...50k mein bhi no savings...2lakhs salary mein bhi very low to no savings....yeh Paisa jaata kaha hai bhaai...aat kyon nahi ...jis tarah Kam paise mein kaam hojata tha...choti gaadi se bhi...toh 35lpa mein bhi choti gaadi se kaam kyun nai chalta...aur khana? Olive oil? Sourdough bread? Yeh kha ke kya ukhaad lete hai log...trips and vacations are definitely worth it but there are so many unnecessary things people waste their money on....savings karne ka ek hi tarika hai...phone se saare faltu ke shopping apps uninstall kardo.... paise fir dekhna ped pe hi ugne jaise lagenge....but again
..insaan ka package badha toh status maintenance costs bhi badh jaata hai...I wish yeh status maintenance costs avoid karsakte log...but iss ghatiya society mein log ek dusre ko neecha uucha dikhane ke chakkar mein apni mehnat ki kamaai gawa dete hai ..aur retirement aur savings ke liye chillar bachta hai ...fir baithke rote hai....and this cycle continues with gen to gen!
You answered it urself..'I'm bloddy ok with it'. Go take rest.
Nah bro.. its too less... You won't be able to afford a rented appartment/cook/househelper/car..
Atleast negotiate for 1cr per month.. in that also you won't able to survive but thoda manage kr lena..
Oh god …you BPL guys …you won’t be able to survive there in delhi with this package…move back to your hometown.
Gadha as gaya
Bhai Najafgarh me last gali me 5 lakh aa jana I will explain this. Aur haan, akele aana.
