I work in FP&A consolidations at a large sell side bank. I moved internally after working in the planning group of a Working Capital Solutions business. I often feel like I would enjoy client facing or advisory work because it would help me build a skill that could translate to me potentially running my own advisory firm one day… I feel my role just looks at numbers on a page which doesn’t help me develop translatable subject matter skills or expertise. I don’t want to be a robot. Any advice?

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. Today I got an email from TCS to complete an ibegin registration. Whenever I login, it is asking me to enter PAN details and mail ID. If I give, it is giving a warning that my account is already present in ibegin and telling me to login with another email ID. As if I remember, one of the consultancy, used my PAN to register in ibegin but I’m unable to login since it is registered by their mail ID and my PAN.

Hinge advice - I (30F) match with descent number of ppl but then most guys don’t initiate the convo. Is this a SF thing or am I doing something wrong? I used to just initiate convo myself, but then in those cases usually don’t get replies. Any tips?

I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?

Hi all. I'm looking for t15 mba programs that are "fun" and really enable their students to get to know each other well. I'm making an assumption that schools close to a big city (e.g. NYC, LA, Chi) are more likely to fit this criteria and therefore considering applying to only Booth, Kellogg, Stern, CBS, Anderson.

Are there other schools that come to mind that I should be seriously considering as well? Tough to find online research on this topic. (Note: not considering h/s/w cuz competition)
