Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Here’s my setup. Just got the Dell 32 Inch S3221Qs.
I need to do something about the wires.
- Monitor: Dell 32 Inch S3221Qs. ~$340
- Keyboard: apple magic keyboard ~$100 (expensed from my consulting days)
- computer: MacBook Pro 15 inch (work issued)
- computer stand from Amazon ~$20
- mouse: steel series rival 3 ~$40. Might return and get an apple trackpad
- desk: Fully Jarvis adjustable standing desk ~$550.
Note: I work from home everyday and got a $1,000 one time stipend and $75/month for wfh necessities (wifi, upgrades, etc). I work at a preipo tech startup
I prefer a 24 inch - 32 felt too big for me
Pro
If anything that’s too little lol
Update: it’s not
No, I have a 32 inch and I think it's perfect. It did take a week to adjust though
Both my boyfriend and I work off 32” monitors from home and it’s amazing
I personally have a 27 @ 1080p and a 32 @ UHD, I really like having a big one with high quality for presenting decks and another for spreadsheets so I don’t have to squint
27 is way more ideal
I’ve got a 38 so nah
I have two of them…works perfect
When I use my 32” monitor I feel like I’m in excel VR 😅
2 monitors all the way. Both of mine are 27”
I use a 43
I use two 24s instead since I like having things easily split
32 seems great. I think the only thing to consider is if you share your screen during meetings likely want to do it from the laptop screen otherwise things might be tiny for the folks on the call.
