Thoughts on PJT strategic advisory?
What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

An MBA is worth it if you plan to leave consulting at any point in your career (e.g., it’s well regarded in PE Ops, CXO roles, VP / Director roles, etc.). If you plan to make Partner at PwC (S&), probably not worth it as much.
this is the correct response
Firm sponsored? So free 2 year party at an M7 program? Sure. I'd do it.
No, the spreadsheet model won't give a positive ROI due to the foregone income (assuming you will stay in S&), but the fun experience won't be something you regret on your deathbed when money doesn't matter.

Lol director 1 has no clue

If you want an MBA, yeah. Rather get it sponsored upfront and then move if you want. But if you don’t end up moving it gets paid for.
Once you’re in no point IMO

I probably wouldn’t do it. You already have the job an MBA would get you. Due to high turnover and unpredictable project demand, you’ll be promoted at S& quick even without one.
The pro: 2 year vacation that’s paid
the con: you lose the ability to use the mba to transition somewhere else
Pro
As an MBA who is now at S&… unless you plan on transitioning out of consulting into something unrelated to your exp, not worth.
Depending on the school, you can have an amazing social experience and have the best 2 years ever. I went to Ross and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I heard Kellogg is similar
It’s a 2 year vacation bro. Take it.

Only do it if you think you’ll move out to industry in the near future.
