Is anyone else being effected by this storm? We had 60 degree weather over the weekend and now a full snow storm. Luckily the trains are still running but wasn’t expecting to be wearing my big winter coat today.

I'm not in the path of the snow storm, fortunately. But we have been getting thunderstorms and occasional alerts about potential tornados. It really seems like the weather lately just wants to be extreme.

It’s just really windy , my car was shaking yesterday evening and the temperature dropped drastically .

I understand the importance of citations. It's a wonderful way to show how your work builds on previous research. But sometimes I just want to write an article that says "I think this" without having to cite everyone who ever said that before me.

I'll tell you what it is: referencing!

You have to do so much of it, and it's so annoying. You have to cite your sources, but there are so many different formats for citations! And then sometimes you don't even know how to cite something, and how are you supposed to know that unless you ask someone who knows? And even then, they might not be sure whether it should be an in-text citation or a footnote…
