Hey fishes
A friend of mine has recently received an offer from Mastek. His only(primary) concern before joining any organization is the job security that comes with it. I would therefore like to know to what extent is one's job secure at Mastek? Thanks in advance...

I am both happy and a little disappointed with the annual raise I got a few months ago. One the one hand, it was hit or miss if we were getting to get any type of a raise for awhile so I know I should be happy to have received anything. But on the other hand I only received a 0.5% raise, so it was not great and definitely did not keep up with inflation
I still have a month and some before reviews come up. I am not exactly hoping for a ton, so bracing for disappointment. I completely understand though, you don’t want to be ungrateful for anything, but like really? Have had some miniscule raises and it does not make you feel valued.
It really does not make me feel valued at the company. It makes me want to start to look for something else that will be better suited to provide for my family

I'll find out in December. If I don't get an expected supervisor position I will be upset, but not surprised. I'd get a standard cost of living raise around 4% in that case. Now if my bonus is lower than expected it will be a problem.
I always feel disappointed. Although I score almost perfect (like 4.8 out of 5) on performance annual review year after year, my supervisor also happens to be the financial director is really really a penny pincher. Like I am suppose to be eternally grateful for the 30 cents hourly I get as a raise. She does this to be the only department that is ALWAYS under budget in hopes to get a large bonus herself and/or a promotion to be regional Business Office Specialist. I am fully aware of how much employees in other depts. get b/c I am her Administrative Asst. and she is too lazy to enter the amounts herself so she assigns me to do this. Unfortunately, the executive director is spineless and is under my supervisors thumb so I get no back up from him whom I also do the financials for.
Sorry, just venting. This hits a nerve all the time.
