I'm in the same boat. Jobs in my specialty are very hard to come by in rural America.
I keep my LinkedIn updated and check postings a couple of times a week, but I’m not obsessing daily. I also set alerts so good roles come to me instead of constantly searching. It helps to stay ready without burning out.
I’d say keep your resume fresh, quietly network with people you trust, and be selective. When the right job shows up, you’ll be glad you weren’t starting from scratch.

I’m in the same boat as you! Casually looking, but not super motivated to just leave my current job. It pays the bills, but if something better comes along, I’d gladly take it!
No such thing as the right job
I am in the same boat. I am currently looking everyday for a better opportunity. I have alerts set as new jobs become available. I am currently looking for remote jobs. Its definitely frustrating but not giving up. I am still working at the moment but will definitely leave for a better opportunity
