Anyone from MBB office the Netherlands?
Hi fishes,
Anyone joined coforge recently? Any reviews for the same? Is it worth to join this organisation? They told me they are hiring for Santander bank account but still be having client interview before onboarding to project. Any idea on this account? Is it tough to crack client interview over there? Don't want to face long bench hours like it used to be in Publicis sapient which led to brutal lay off. Kinda sceptical to join as it is giving me Publicis sapient vibes.Coforge Coforge ltd
Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

First apply.
Any rationale behind this? I could be convinced, but am skeptical of this approach and its risk at first thought
Join the case prep discord groups. Always people looking for case partners there. But you may have to dig around to get someone good
Agree. Apply. It took months before I randomly got my interview.
Did you get any context on why the time between applying and your first call? It can’t be processing time, so wondering if it was a result of applicant pool, economic conditions/internal pipeline, etc.
Don’t listen to these people. Start prepping now
As others have said, apply first. And keep in mind there is such a thing as over-casing, where it’s obvious the candidate has just rote learned a bunch of cases and frameworks
Apply first. Or it’s all for nothing.
Maybe not, and that’s fine. I do tend to think MBB projects would be more fun and challenging, I would be surrounded by people who could better challenge me, I could learn more, etc. This isn’t to say MBB would be better at every turn, but at least in the margins, or am I wrong?
Apply first - you’re not guaranteed an interview, especially in this economy. Why sink 50+ hours into casing if it’s not a sure thing
Appreciate the feedback, but I’m bored. 50 hours working on cases seems like a much better time spent than 50 hours on YouTube
