Is business development same as corporate development?

I was a part of a management program for the past 4 years in a mid-size local company; worked in a variety of functions: operations, sales, data, marketing, and audit. Thinking about pivoting to consulting, how would you advise me to go about this pivot?

What are general thoughts on EY digital? Having exploratory convos with them. I know not as mature as D & ACN, but is there legit growth potential?

I went from T2 (LEK, EYP, OW, etc) to VC - happy to provide advice/help however I can!

About to quit a job in just one month of joining... what should I do...just hit the exit button, or keep a call with the Manager or the HR?
