I heard from my head that there is a lot of slowdown in VW Germany... There is Hiring freeze, level freeze and all ... And soon that will spillover to india. So be prepared for very less hikes in coming cycle :( Also automotive sector in general is struggling with tesla laying off 10% workforce recently. Maybe time to make a move? What do you say fishes?

Howdy…I need a sanity check! As part of my previous role, I reported security non-compliance and gross security misrepresentations. For my valiant efforts I was laid off (despite being a protected whistleblower) and my reports were buried. Everything I did was in line with my responsibilities. I was extremely concerned that systems housing personal credit data on all US consumers were not adequately protected. I essentially risked my job to protect data and I’m not sure if it mattered.

Does anyone have any advice on how to convince yourself life is worth it when you think it’s not. I’m a 28 year guy, just got laid off from my job, have aspergers, have no friends, can’t find a gf, why do I even try anymore at anything

I quit my previous job approximately 5-6 months ago due to toxic culture and being pressured to commit fraud… I fear hiring managers see that I’ve been out of work for this time and may assume I was fired or laid off. Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.

What is a good interview answer for leaving a job after a few months when the real reason is that you’re sleeping with one eye open in hopes of not being on the chopping block after two rounds of massive layoffs?
