I’m a cyber security professional been consulting since I graduated college. I’m in the final rounds for the following roles at FAANG companies. Role 1 - engineering program manager for compliance and security, role 2 - l6 consultant aws pro service , role 3 senior product manager. Do not know what to pick at this moment..leaning towards senior product manager…thoughts ?

Anyone witness slackers who got into companies you have no idea how? Had a coworker who does jack chit at work besides chatting on Facebook yet lands at a faang company? I guess if he brings the same work ethic he will be spit out for sure. Or maybe he just had no interest in doing project work.

So I have been able to get offers at consulting companies and some FAANG exit companies (Industry), have made to final rounds at FAAG (except for Netflix) but wasn't able to secure offers. My ultimate goal in my life is to secure a FAANG offer, I don't want anything else in my life. Is it that life is trying to play with me?

Just started at Apple and I feel like there are so much to learn and some documents are definitely very elusive with the acronyms, I feel like it takes several hours for me to fully consume and understand a deck. Is this normal leaning curve for FAANG?
