Is it a bad time to job search/take a new job? I’m currently in a position where my job is safe (as long as company stays in biz) but I’m wanting to move to a bigger company. Thoughts?

You can job hunt, sure, but don’t resign until you’ve signed a contract on an offer that you’re confident is safe. TBH the jobs will probably dry up pretty swift and you’ll be happy to have a job.

Bigger is not always better. I'm sure the barriers of getting your work produced is slim. Some people have worked for years at a big agency without anything reaching the consumer.

Search but don’t keep your hopes up this season. With coronavirus many companies will be doing budget cuts so most agencies will probably be struggling to keep everyone afloat for some months.

I’m in a medium sized market and I’m just worried that moving to a bigger company didn’t now could increase my risk of getting laid off.

It’s an in-house company that’s been growing pretty quickly so I’m not sure if they’re also doing cuts.
