McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.
I currently work as a biomedical scientist but I want to change my career; so far I’ve done Salesforce Sale cloud consultant and Administrator exams and I am certified. I’m currently studying for the Service Cloud consultant certification .

Depends on be if they have a relationship with the hiring manager. It can be pretty annoying to receive though and as D1 said, should only be if the recruiter isn’t responding.
I have referred three people who are at various stages of interviewing/hiring; I only ever worked with the recruiter (who was very responsive), and hiring managers actually reached out to me on occasion. As much as possible, follow the process. You wouldn't want a possible ethics violation preventing your referral from coming aboard.
Why don’t you ping them and find out, instead of asking random people who have no idea how that specific recruiter will respond? 🙄
OP what I’m saying is, yes, it is appropriate to email them. I’m saying don’t bother asking other people’s opinions for this question, because there is no “rule” or norm - as in life generally. So you must simply send the email, take the risk intelligently, and then manage the result!
Only if the recruiter is not responding
How long have you been waiting on a response from the recruiter?
Thank you !!
