I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

I was a senior and got picked up for two weeks on a big job where the senior thought I was a second year associate... I did not correct them and just chilled and enjoyed my time honestly. But, I made sure not to get a snapshot from them lol.
Could be not updated yet on their end. Also it’s very common to do associate level work on some engagements if you are the least senior person on the team (or if the other senior has been on the client for a lot longer than you have and you are the same level) I wouldn’t sweat it
When talking with non-staff level coworkers, I often refer to the seniors and associates collectively as “associates.” Im not doing it to belittle the senior title. It’s just easier. I would never phrase it that way to a senior though because I would’ve taken offense (internally) to that when I was a senior. It could also be that this engagement has associate level work that needs to get done and you were available. I’m a manager and do associate work when the need arises on my engagements, so this doesn’t change as you move up.
Honestly enjoy it while it lasts. I definitely get pretty salty when I hear about other seniors at my level getting to staff jobs while I have to in charge all of mine.
Clearly you would not be in that role if a first year associate could do it. It probably requires some experience and if they are willing to from an economic perspective use you they have a reason. I had a new senior move over from tax and told him he would be like an associate because he didn’t have the experience and he was actually relieved, he told me later, because he would have time to learn.
An mistake probably. In the end of day it doesn’t matter as long as you get the work done. Just make sure that you talk to the team and set expectations for what you need to do to get a snapshot that you like.
