Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE
Hi Amazonians,
I am looking for guidance.
I am going to start interview process with Amazon next week. Probably all rounds will be done in 1-2 day time frame.
How/what should I prepare for interview?
Am clueless on what kind of ds & algo questions, system design questions are asked in Amazon interviews.
My techstack: javascript developer- react+Angular.
1. Pls guide me on what/how to prepare?
2. Also, will the interview be solely on da & algo and javascript; or on Js frameworks?

Hi Fishies! (Is that what we are? I’m going with it)
I just came across a Google Research and Insights role that got me SUPER excited and I was about to apply when I had the idea of seeing if anyone would be willing to give me a referral. I understand (and respect) that most of you Googlers on here feel that a referral is only useful if you know the person but I would be happy to jump on the phone to give you some info about me. It would mean so much! 4 YOE at a major audio steaming service
I hate that this is our choice 😢
Fishes, need your honest advise - I have 40 days left with Notice period and no job in hand due only 4-5 months of relevant experience and total yoe- 3.10 years. Is there any chance I will get the job in next 40 days due to immediate joiner? Or give me referral please

It’s normal OP. Not sure if you’ve heard stories but it’s part of the reason a lot of people got screwed the past year or so bonus wise. The firms aren’t legally obligated
Nice! It should be awesome. Check this out: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wsj.com/amp/articles/for-bankers-2020-was-a-bad-year-to-have-a-good-year-11610034822
Firms were pitching a ton during 2020 hoping for deal flow so more hours, negative outcomes, and flat or declining bonuses. But there’s also the positive side which banks are going through now since companies have PPP, are generating revenue, etc so a lot of banks are offering higher bonus potential. I think it’s a waiting game for the dust to settle and things will normalize with more time
In principle bonuses are discretionary - But I know for a fact they always include them in offer letters for consulting positions. Does this differ in IB?
My offer letter didn’t include a % amount, but it said that they will pro rate and award I’m eligible for in the year that I start. It then went on to say that I am eligible for the annual bonus program as per their policy.
Was that an offer for KPMG or IB?
