Is it normal to get ghosted by an ECD after they show interest in hiring you? Chatted over Zoom with an NYC ECD earlier this year. They told me to get in touch with them in August about meeting in person. I did what they said. I've emailed once a week since the start of August, but have heard nothing. I understand that ECDs are busy, but I wonder if I should give up.

How many emails does it take to go from "getting the partner's attention by being assertive" to "pissing off the partner entirely" to the point of ignoring your emergency question that you need answered for the client but do not have the authority to do so solo? I am at three so far. I can't tell if I already crossed the line into pissed off or if I haven't even gotten close to assertive. All guesses welcome.

The crazy thing is they were just named the best local municipality to work for. It's upsetting. They advertise a "culture" but don'tapply it. Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health.
