Is it normal to get ghosted by an ECD after they show interest in hiring you? Chatted over Zoom with an NYC ECD earlier this year. They told me to get in touch with them in August about meeting in person. I did what they said. I've emailed once a week since the start of August, but have heard nothing. I understand that ECDs are busy, but I wonder if I should give up.

I am trying to get out on Contract Negotiations and get into strategy consulting but recently got invited to apply for a Contract negotiation position at a sustainability consulting firm by a head hunter. This position is with a fast growing start up and would allow for great career growth, experience, and over 100k in salary (only make $70k now). Any advice on how to weigh these very different opportunities?

I just received a verbal offer as a program manager at vp level from a US BB in London. Unfortunately the number was a round down of my current pay. I’m currently a business manager in banking and thinking to move to the program manager role as a step towards more broader opportunities in the future (COO, consulting type of roles).
Should I accept the offer?
The HR told me that there will be opportunities for promotion in the next 12 to 24 months.

I am mainly working with shops in the States as a non-native speaker and I am constantly worried about my ability to communicate (in any professional occasion but mostly in meetings). I am working with some of the best shops and this makes the situation worse considering that I am largely surrounded by an extremely competent group of folks that are super good at any form of communication. How do you feel as a native speaker when you meet non-natives? Should they be worried, or, they doing ok?
