Yes. I was told if you invite them to a Skype meeting and they respond it will then work

Yes

It depends on your firm’s firewall

At EY at least you have to set it up - it’s called “Skype federation” and basically their IT dept just has to allow it. For some of our bigger clients that your friends may work at someone has probably already done the legwork and set it up. Just type their full email address into the search bar on skype and open a chat. If it connects then their domain has already been enabled for Skype federation and if not then not.

Hi Team,

I have cleared all the interview rounds (WebEx & HR on call) for the position: VERIFIER, and also submitted documents (authentic as per my knowledge) for background verification on Aug. 25, 2022.

How much time usually ICICI bank takes to generate Offer Letter, after all the verification process??

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

When is it either allowed or seen as OK to start using FTO? I recently started here and while I’m not looking to slack off and take time off, I just want to know how it works. (Plus, I don’t want to not use something that I can or should use.) Elementary stuff, I know. But I’ve freelanced my whole career until now. Thanks

As things start to open up fully, some of my institutional clients are sending notices that we are expected to do X activity over zoom from here on out (things we used to do in person). Clearly it’s a cost cutting measure. Anyone else feel like filing for telephonic appearance so the insurance company can save a buck isn’t going to sit well with judges who prefer in person attendance? I hope they deny all of them so my billables don’t suffer. Less travel = more desk bs I have to do to hit quota

I’ve been at my company for 10+ years. I’m not happy with the culture but have flexibility I enjoy, seniority for the time I’ve been here, and pays well. An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower. If I stay, I will be Director in few years. What will look better on a resume in the future, continued growth in 1 company or experience in more than 1 company?
