Is it possible to get a strategy role in industry by having an engineering degree only and no consulting experience?

Again posting since my last post did not got attention. Wanted to ask whether it's good to switch to big 4 India advisory role from a mid tier organization dealing in tech and ops. Additionally, they offered just very low percentage on current CTC saying that I am coming to a big brand.
Plus my current financial situation is stressful and I accepted the offer on certain conditions but now hr or the firm but saying we can't committ you. Any suggestions.

Anyone have experience going back to school for either an LLM, MBA or something else while still maintaining their practice? Considering going for my MBA to open practice to more business consulting, but maintaining my full time practice. Looking for advice fish fam. Deloitte vs EY-P. Same level - Manager/Director. EY-P pays $50k more for base and maybe $10 to $20k more as bonus. Currently at Deloitte. Is the extra $60-$70k worth giving up my network? Plan to stay in Consulting and hope to make SM/SD. I have a family and my wife is a homemaker. So money does matter. Would have left easily for an $80k bump. Wouldn’t leave for $30k or less. Don’t know what to do with $60k. Pulling my hair out here. HELP Please!!!
