Hi everyone,
I have a total 9+ work ex in Devops and Release Management. Did an executive mba with a goal of breaking into Program management but got recruited into Management Consulting . In this company for the past 3 months.
I feel that my overall skills are better off in a TPM/Program Management role.
My overall experience makes me eligible for most PM roles.
My question is how do I prep for a TPM role since I don’t have development or Scrum Master exposure. Amazon India VMware BrowserStack Inc.

What I know is if i can be a manager at a regular office and yet have my own start up venture(s) on various other skills, it shouldn't ideally conflict but some HR do poke in between

take job with long commute or stay at b4?
Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.

Comp is decent at 85k for 2YOE in Mcol. No hybrid at all. In office 5 days a week. Conservative leadership
Your best bet is to switch. Moving jobs has the perk of higher pay and maybe a better title.
You could NEVER get me to go back to public accounting
Go back to public, maybe audit? I’m making a lot of assumptions here but it seems as if you’re driven and care about experience/ comp etc. CPA shouldn’t be the only criteria for promotion but it damn well tells me that this is a person who put in the work. Go somewhere where they value the certification and compensate you for it.
