Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

You've had shitty reviews and Have possibly been put in a performance improvement plan. What was your rating at the most recent round tables?
#1 You are a resource to the firm and mean nothing, so understand that. If you stick it out until senior above your opinion may actually matter.
#2 Once you start on the road diverging from audit projects, youre headed downhill. You were hired as an audit associate, not a risk assurance associate. Don't waste a busy season.
#3 Kissing a** in audit is the way to get booked on jobs unfortunately in this practice so if you're not an a** kisser youre in the wrong industry cause youll get thrown on any project.
Partially at next level
Thank you so much for the feedback
I see my thing with my utilization rate was that I've been on different clients and two projects I worked on were internal projects for the firm and that lasted for two and half months and lowered my utilization rate should I be concerned on that?
Not as a staff 1. Someone has to do internal projects and you just had the bad luck to be assigned. Utilization doesn't really factor in until senior/manager. Don't worry about it as a staff 1. You'll make it up once you get assigned a long term client. Do you have a main client now?
I started in Jan so idk if im still considered a staff 1. And I just got assigned to a risk assurance client this starting Monday that concludes at the end of Jan as my busy season client
Is there a way I can DM You on this post btw?
I'm not sure if FB has DM. If you're audit, definitely ask to be assigned to audit projects. Assigning you to a RA project sounds troubling. Maybe speak with HR. Explain to them your goals and your desire to be on a main client. If you wanted to be on RA jobs, you would've recruited as an RA hire. Best advice I ever got: Public Accounting will fuck you as long as you let it. Go speak with HR. Communicate your goals and desires to work in audit (which is what you were hired in). If they don't work with you then put in applications to other firms. One of the B4 will put you on audit clients if PwC won't.
I was wondering the exact same thing on why I was put on a Risk Assurance client as well. But another colleague of mine was put on BCM and he's in AM.
I didn't know I could speak up I thought it would look bad on my part
That's BS that the firm sells you to drink their Kool aid. You've got to look out for yourself and be confident in your value. If the firm doesn't value you enough to put you on audit clients then leave for EY or Deloitte. Guarantee one of them needs some audit associates.
Thank you I really appreciate all this im going to speak to my HR about this as soon as possible
Obviously you want to speak up in a professional way, but just express your concerns. Nobody ever looked down on someone for trying to advance their career and achieve their goals. Talk to them and see what they say. If they give you some runaround answer then start looking elsewhere as a backup.
I was already considering making a move to another big four or private sector after how I've been treated at PwC
Sometimes HR will say they're working on it and just string things along, so take what they say with a grain of salt. Speak with them now. If things don't change in two weeks, check in with them again. If they give you the runaround during that second conversation then start floating your resume to EY and Deloitte. Im sure someone on here can give you the recruiters email or could possibly refer you (everyone wants that referral bonus).
Why group are you in?

I'm in insurance
Is it that easy I feel like trying to find another job will be difficult honestly
I've always found that the B4 are looking for auditors. I'd apply for general assurance rather than insurance (larger practice so more staff), but my experience has been that the firms are always looking.
Thank you I really appreciate it. And it's a bad sign for me that they put me on a risk assurance client even thought my reviews were good ?
