Is it worth leaving MBB to a tier 2 firm because of the kind of work they're doing? Context, took some time off work for personal reasons and I'm evaluating whether I should go back. I want to exit to an energy and infrastructure fund but I struggled to get that kind of work while at McKinsey. Interviewed for Meta exactly 2 weeks ago today. Contacted the recruiter last Tuesday and they said they were waiting to hear back from the hiring manager to discuss the interview results. What are the best responses for “a time when you led a team” in a consulting interview, for someone who has not had a managerial position (1 yoe) before?
