Is S&E a hard role to break into? I'm probably an SM/AD level in industry, but all roles I see in industry advertised want director/senior director level, with 5+ years of direct experience.

Tough to get into S&E without prior in house experience. Heavy technical / scientific DD. I don’t know if any consulting firms really do this - essentially it’s a BD scientist.

But there are AD/SM roles in industry. Limited supply of roles because there needs to be some level of expertise. Which is why many postings are indexed towards higher levels. Junior roles are typically filled in-house by R&D.

I’m in BD at a large Cap Biopharma.

Usually at that level would be given to in-house staff

Hello, I have 4 years of experience between Financial decision support and pricing. However, I feel like my experience is too narrowed to how my current company operates. I am looking to pivot into consulting at one of the big4 ( for ~2-3 years)or any other consulting firm to have a well rounded experience that could be applicable to any industry. Any advices ?or thoughts ?

I work as a worker’s compensation adjuster and I cannot seem to get the hand of loss of time. Been in the same role for a year. Any piece of advise? I have made several improvements but it feels like I’m dragging it out. Last question is how do you manage claims that you have not handle for months and you’re too scared to do anything.

I am seeking new employment, I was recently laid off due to lack of work. I would very much appreciate any leads. I have a Bs in Construction Management and over 15 years experience with Revit and AutoCAD and 7 years of plumbing design. I have solid references and impeccable work ethic. I truly enjoy what I do. Working remotely the last three years has become a way of my life and supports our current situation well, therefore I am seeking a similar role but will consider other opportunities.
