Is the grass really greener at the big 4?
I’m an L&E associate with 10 yrs experience (5 at current mid level firm). I have a high billable rate for my area, but my pay is low, and fairly stagnant. I love the people and have ok WLB. However, there has been a lot of turnover, and I’m increasingly struggling to meet my hours. I’ve been able to build a book for myself, but it doesn’t fill my hours. I’m constantly stressed about not meeting my hours, even though I am constantly asking for work.

Any Vietnamese fish got H1B stamp recently? Mine is only valid for 1 year which I'm wondering why. Not having to worry about renewing it every year when I travel abroad is nice :(

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.

What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?
