Yes. You ideally list your end date the same date you tell your new employer that your two week notice is done (in other words, you find employment while you are still on the website).
For future employment thereafter, you list the end date that matches with what HR will report when asked to confirm start/end dates for background checks.
You then come up with a believable excuse to explain the gap (if any) of employment during the interview process.
A3: right. That’s the point of my response.
At my former firm, the date your website time ended is the date that HR would report for a background check.
I’ve only seen it where you’re not formally terminated until your website time ends.
