Is their harm in applying to two jobs at the same company? Should I use different emails for each application?

What’s wrong with this? I think applying to 2 different jobs is totally fine and you can use the same email. Different story if you’re already in the interview process - then you should discuss with recruiting team directly

Makes sense for very large companies such as Google, Amazon, etc that have a large number of teams where you can be a fit. Obviously doesn’t make sense to do this for say an MBB firm.

Only 2? Those are rookie numbers. I've had a rolling 3-4 at one company and I submitted 4 to another off a single referral. Companies are desperate for talent and their recruiters are usually in fragmented teams that don't talk to each other. Apply to every time you want, and even some you don't. This is a numbers game

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work? Or just chill out? I just feel very confused. Are a lot of full time jobs like this?

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
