hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

If that gets denied, my plan is to travel to Canada and re enter US immediately on B1/B2 visa (already have valid B1/B2 stamp) so that I'll get time to figure out things here in the US (sell my stuff, handle my bank accts etc). I have joined IBM and resigned within 50 days.
Reason: project I was allocated not good and I initially rejected project but they forcefully moved to the project.I have asked multiple times to replace the project after that I have resigned.
Now manager is threatening me that I will be placed under no hire to IBM.

For those of you who had an allergic reaction to the COVID vaccine, how did you get a vaccine exemption? I had mine last year, experienced vertigo for 3 days, but didn't go to the doctor (since it went away the 4th day). I checked the CDC website, saw vertigo isn't listed under normal symptoms, and cancelled my appointment for the 2nd dose. Can tax lawyers in public accounting feasibly make to a move to IRS counsel? Also, would it be worth that move?

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better. Can anyone speak to how they got into PA and if you would rather be working in Big Law
